Athletic taping also known as Rock-tape or even (kinesiology tape) is the process of applying tape directly to the skin in order to maintain a stable position of bones and muscles during athletic activity.
This is very useful for athletes, corporate office workers and also people who still want to workout or train but seem to lack in their postural muscles.
It is a procedure that uses athletic tape, attached to the skin, to physically hold muscles or bones at a certain position.
This reduces pain and aids recovery, great for a lot of athletes who may suffer an injury or discomfort during sport/physical activity. We have experience using this kind of tape with a lot of sports such as Crossfit, Football, Basketball, Soccer, Dancing, Netball and more.
Tape can be used for up to 5 days at a time, as long as no irritation has occurred. If the skin becomes itchy we recommend to take the tape off immediately. The tape is also Latex Free so it's extremely rare that our clients may have a reaction to it.
Tape may also get wet as it is resistant to water although we recommend to wait 30 minutes post application before getting the tape wet.
